Everyone’s probably heard of the term ‘Natural’ or ‘Naturalistic’ and probably wondered. “What’s it mean?” 

In the story ‘The Hidden Realm’ they talk about some changelings undergoing an easier life change from a traited change called ‘Naturalistic’. This term means that the person's change is affecting the person more deeply and with more secretive mutation effects. Making it more seamless for the effecting morph to change the affected person with less effort of resistance.

This traited change forces the user to become more intact with the animal characteristics behaviors based on what animal the person is being changed into. So depending how far one goes. It can deepen the animal behaviors more farther with less resistance problems of a mental fight response.

How can one see if one’s a traited Natural changeling?: This normally is a easy sign to see from the persons eyes. Animals of all sort have a fairly basic eye color compared to humans that aren’t as mute or dull colored or consistent. So animals will normally have brown, dark, or faint colors compared to green, yellow (besides cats/foxes.), and so. But when a human undergoes a change the feral eye color shifts first and will settle in faster from the change then the rest of the body. But a traited tie is when the animal coloration is the main focus with the human’s hinted eye color they had as a human. So if someone had brown and they changed to a fox. They’d have kinda a yellow to brown hue eyecolor. While our main character has blue hue with brown-black iris coloring. Sometimes it can be hard to see if the animal change has similar coloring as the human’s. IE a dog with brown eyes and a human with brown eyes. Almost making it impossible for one to know if they are a Natural changeling. Only the other clue is the calming behavior changes. Most people tend to freak out or be super worried and highly resist to the form changing. But Naturalistic changelings will be more calmer at the beginning stages of the change process and feel more welcoming to the experience of it all.

How far can a Changeling go?: In The Hidden Realm Part 7. Starting A New. A rat brother had his brother get changed all the way down to a feral. So this looks like it could goes as far deep down as to turn one into a complete animal.

if a Naturalistic changeling got changed to Feral. Can i still know who i am or speak?: It’s hard to tell. But from a short view of a character in The Hidden Realm Part 7. Starting A New. A rat’s brother who turned into a feral ended up seeming to still have a hint of his human behavior of looking after his cursed anthro rat brother. The deep bond that connected him before seem to stayed. And their smart wise wisdom still seems to be around. But it’s not sure of how far gone he is. He smarter then a normal animal for sure and that would translate to one being turned feral. But how connected to a piece of your humanity is up in smoke and even then to try speaking as speaking is basically just as much as any other animal normally would speak of squeaks, chirps, barks, etc.

What are the effects of this Naturalistic trait when undergoing a change?: Due to how deep integrated the effect of the change goes into the mentality of the mind. Outside during day or or a nocturnal creature when their awake. They won’t notice anything really but have more and more closer animal behaviors kinda ‘surface’ as the change deepens.

But when one is asleep. The change will play a sorta trial run inside ones mind by running them through a course of effects as the change deepens into the mind. So as one starts to have their sense of smell change. The mind in sleep will run them through a trial of teaching them how to use this new found trait and run the course of getting them used to it. That way when they awake the animal behavior smell will be seamless and bond with the person judgement as if they always knew how to use it. Though there are sometimes the reaction can be stronger in cases of reaction when awake. But the trial runs kinda show how one gets use to their new found abilities of their now forming animal characteristic behavior changes. From running and tasting your body to it’s limits, To using those defensive tools to guard your life, to hunting. It all goes on in your sleep. When you wake up it’s just another trait as if you already had it before.

Is there a way to Resist the Naturalistic change?: Some would say yes and others would say no. Saying yes would make one think they could stay mentally human. Others would say no due to how seamless integrated it is within the mind and not really resistable.

If there was a chance could i resist can i?: It’s possible. But would you? As just like the temptation of that nice juicy burger in a fastfood place you been dieing to try, But held yourself back because of it’s so fatty and unhealthy. Or like a lie that starts eating you from the inside the longer you wait to tell the truth. The effects of resisting come flying back 10folds. Pushing you farther deeper into becoming more mentally a animal then just letting it slowly merge with you and having your human and animal sides ‘trust’ each other and live together as balance.

If i ended up losing myself to the change from resisting. Can i come back?: Depends how deep far your change affects you. If you were just a human-like as the main character in The Hidden Realm like Spots. You could. But it’d take alot of time to retrain yourself to understand human focus. Just as much as a person who was thrown on a lone island alone for years running like a rabid animal. It’d take awhile to get them being somewhat human again. But if your change is far deeper. There is only a amount of humanity you can regain. As like the saying is. A Naturalistic change will change you as far into mind as it will as your appearance. So if you change feral. You’ll likely end up a animal with barely much humanity left in you. Sure you’ll be smarter than the normal animal. But you will likely not know much more than the basics of stuff.

Is there a way to stop a Naturalistic change?: From what Mythicals know. No. There isn’t any information how it even starts. So the change has yet to be figured out how to stop it or even revert a person back.

If i was a normal changeling could i get changed back?: Yes. This is because the unique change behavior of a Naturalistic and a normal changeling are far different in changing characteristics, Even though similar due to the fact you’ll still change into some kind of animal and how far depends on what the changes ‘wishes’. A normal changeling can be reverted back since it doesn’t integrate with the mind as a Naturalistic does. The strange trait of a Naturistical’s changeling way is something unique and odd that can’t be fixed since it becomes a whole to the whole person’s form. It’s not just affecting the body. But also the mind and the sequence to the dna of the person that makes it not known how to reverse it.

Could a Naturalistic changeling be changed back to human even so?: No. Attempts have been made before hand. But found not only did the person who got changed back were still in mind an animal. But also the power of the change merged into them also reverted to still changing them back to a animal-like or even making deeper changes to them going more feral. This is why it’s still unknown how to reverse a Naturalistic’s change.
