-Very brief backstory:

Zereiss was born in 1208 to Damizure and Iazoria Dinashir in
the city of mumbina, he did not have the most glamorous of
upbringings but was in a very closely bonded family unit, he
shared the house with 3 brothers and 2 sisters who he loved,
his mother was a full time mom, sometimes going out to
hunt, and his father was a cooper, earning the family money

Despite being not so good off he had a very happy
upbringing, his mother teaching him lizard tradition and
values while his father taught him a more lenient and softer
side, and eventually he made his way into the world.

he joined up with the lizard house of war army at first,
wanting to train and to fight for his empire, for about 10
years he did this before receiving an injury to his right eye
that caused him to be unable to serve, reaching the rank of
sergeant before this happened.

Zereiss then took up a job at the Arx consulate, staring out
as a regular security guard he eventually made it very
quickly to the head of security position, proving his capable
mind and body despite his eye injury, by day he is security,
by night his curious side comes out as he experiments and
learned more about magic and the universe.

(the rest of his story is related to Thalla, which will be
included in her story)

Isn't it amazing, I finish a reference sheet of Zereiss before I manage to even get one of Thalla? I might as well rename this account "everyone but thalla" lol, just a bit of humor, Zereiss is a key member of Thallas life as seen in the short story, it just so happens his reference sheet was finished first, but Thallas reference definitely is on the horizon, after Thallas sheet I plan to finally get a full reference of Zhaz joth-geg, my T'vaoan and start working on his story properly for a change of pace, and to stop simping for Larians masterpiece already, if any member of Larien ever does read this page (doubtful) please know this is all done out of love for the Divinity universe, not an attempt to steal ideas and content, I promise.

some notes:
- Yes Mumbina was a city made up by me, I had a very long look about Ancient empire lore but I was very unable to really find anything around names of cities/towns/villages except for the super creative name "forbiddened city" so yes, Mumbina is, at least in my fannon, a lizard city in the ancient empires teritory where pretty much all of my Lizard characters come from, it is tied to the house of law and it's main trade is minerals mined from it's earth and lizard furniture as it is one of the few places where plentiful ammounts of trees grown, it's named after the river Mumbina that snakes it's way through the center of the city providing needed water to the citizens, I tried to stick to the name theme Larian made
- I don't really know the consulate lore very well so I basically just filled in some roles with my characters to try to tie them into the universe lore more, the only real member of the consulate I know of in lore is Praxyr, I'm sure some one can probably correct me though.
- I know the backstory is a little lackluster, but I want to focus more on my other characters like Thalla, because although Zereiss is an integral character in Thallas story, he still is technically a side character, I just wanted to make sure he had a backstory before I started since Zereiss backstory probably will not be included with Thallas story, just the part where the 2 met.
