It's a hard time of year when events, traditions, and societal expectations really make it clear that there are those who are missing from them. I try to remember that I feel this loss so much, because I loved them so much, and the memories are a thing to treasure, even if it hurts.

Wishing everyone a supportive holiday/year end full of joy, and love with the lights in our lives that are still with us, and a balance to any loss and grief we may feel.
