It's a typical rainy autumn day. Alix was soaked, and the beautiful autumn leaves, falling from the trees, stuck to her bodywork. Covered from her boiller to her wheels, slipping on the rails and having trouble to work properly, Alix know that she needs to be clean up. She went to the nearest water tank, but unfortunately for her, James was already there, and he monopolized all the place.

The red engine looked at Alix, he seems really amused and teased: " Well Alix, you finally decided to adopt the only proper color? " Alix tried to hide her anger and grumpiness, and answered James in the most humorous tone possible. " No, I just wanted to see what it feels like to be a splendid red engine! She tried to joke.

-It's no use! giggled James. You are already a splendid engine, you don't need that." Alix was surprised, because even though James was laughing, she felt there was sincerity in his words. He even went so far as to make some place for Alix so that she could be cleaned.
