Well, last month I posted what was supposed to be a one-off tale, five pages long and roughly 2K words. Well, the characters nagged at me and wanted more screen time so to speak.

The result just in time for "Skunktember" is an expanded story with roughly 26K words over 56 pages. I'll be posting it one chapter a night for the next two weeks, except today as part 1 is more or less a lightly edited version of the original short story. So, you could skip chapter 1 if you've read the original. OR you could compare the two to see what I edited.

Story was inspired after returning from annual fishing camp with my father and kid brother, though that trip turned out nothing like this story though my father and I took turns getting skunked playing cribbage several times while at fishing camp.
