Union City prison, like the rest of the societies on Great Mother, make heavy use of latex to bolster its operations. Union City prison is no exception. Prisoners in maximum, supermax, and protective custody all have tremendous bondage and faceless masks in order to keep them secure with only barcodes to break anonymity.

Unlike medium or minimum security, max, supermax, and protective are not intended to be 'rehabilitative'. Taking away the identities and dignity of the prisoners is beneficial for those 3 groups. In the case of max/supermax for punitive purposes but in the case of protective custody their identities and dignity are seen as a potential danger to the prisoners themselves. It is neigh impossible to identify or locate specific protective prisoners on the fly and as such they are pretty much undetectable as in the case of these 2 pictured here.

They are off to the yard for the time being to be marched around for basic exercise and then it is back to their secured lockers where they will be sealed in vacbags and stuffed inside securely to protect them. After all, you cannot take any risks with their safety so time outside of their lockers is minimal!
