[@username427](/images/3716008#comment_11369529) I guess, yeah - both are unicorns that used to be antagonists that turned good guys and became friends with main group, so that definetely overlaps (if there are more common points, I don't know since I haven't watched all of G5). Atlhough Misty is at least fun, cute and likeable, so I guess there's one area where G5 made an improvement over this paticular idea ^^'
to be fair, there are remarkably many narrative parallels between misty and starlight. it fits
