The next day arrived, and Matt woke up by himself! No alarm clock needed to wake him up because it was weekend. And not only that: Fred is coming today to visit him!

"Come on. Don't tell me you want to wear your cloths indoors too."

"Well, a few weeks ago. He is new in our class! We went along pretty well since day one." Fred said.

His mother frowned at him first but then smiled.
"Good to know you have a new friend!" she said happily.

Matt could only just smile and nod to his mother.
He then turned around and headed back to his room upstairs, but his mom told him something.

"Uhm... and Matt my darling?" his mother said.

"Please put some shoes or at least socks on. I don't want you getting a cold." she said.

For a short moment, he thought about telling his mom that he wasn't wore any footwear for weeks now, but Matt didn't want to risk a fight with his mother, so he just nodded and went upstairs.
