"Envy the ignorant...just for a moment." -Teth'Karaga Mensha
Long before the universe reached maturity, before the young races came into being, before the stars would dance in the void, there lived a time when creatures would celebrate the coming age of existence for all things. These beings were the elder races, a precursor of star-faring peoples, taking record of all that came into being. Teth’Karaga Mensha, a fine example of such, is the leader of the Le’sianka empire, a nation of the then Worlds Undivided. This five-planet federation controlled a small selection of star systems at the height of its power but had since lost dominion over them due to the union's failing bureaucracy and lacking military power. Teth’Karaga, who worked as an ambassador and economist, had not only struggled with the union’s collapse but also suffered from the loss of his wife, Klovai Mensha, to an incurable disease. Left to take care of his son by himself, he lost hope in everything and prayed that someone would spare his people from the blight brought upon them. Little did he know that his prayer would be answered most handsomely; after The Change, Teth’Karaga gained a new body along with his son to become rulers of the seas, mastering the elements of the depths and commanding sea beasts with awesome might. With billions of years of experience, Teth’Karaga had acquired knowledge through studying the history of everything he could find. The past held all the secrets, and thus, with his immaculate comprehension of it, he used it for the present to dictate the future in his favor. But with great knowledge comes a great burden; with such a massive intake of information over the years, this tainted his mind with intellect, one that very few could understand, even if spoken in layman's terms. This loneliness made him gain respect for the ignorant, albeit with a bit of caution—a fate many members of Oktikava would suffer from. But despite this mental isolation, he doesn’t regret harnessing such powers to use them to overcome problems. He, among many other Hive military leaders, would head the charge against the forces of Dak’Tal during the War on the Great Dark and usher in a new age for the Hive to take part in. While a polymath in mind, he is a father in spirit and utilizes his emotional intellect just as much as his rational intellect to win hearts and minds, both in and out of war.
The Hive is an eldritch multispecies intergalactic superpower destined to assimilate every lifeform in the universe to their cause. Under the command of their late god's wishes, these abominations set forth to bring about an empire never seen before. Within this cursed dominion live gods that control special kingdoms representative of their virtues. Technology is all converted to biomechanical horrors that transcend the most advanced forms of mortal technology, giving rise to organic civilizations that would last eons. Their culture, while brutal to most, is a fair one where all can be represented but not above everyone else. The Hive is destined to provide greatness under their horrid light, swaying any who think they have it made in this short life.
