I admit, the whole thing seems odd to me. "Earning" things is for minor, petty stuff, accolades and game achievements. For general life, be it harm no other, why not have it as good as you can? Still, very interested to see where this goes. She says she's giving back to him, I guess she feels he was a big deal in her life earlier.
