It does amaze me how people pay little to no attention to the movie and come to the sudden conclusion these two must be related. How? Where did it ever say that in the movie? Only those who still believe Blue to be his mother know it and their explanation will probably always be the same old story, 'They used her dna to make Ripper'. No. They did not.

I know a good many people that work with a lot of the MH models, I believe most made em for themselves but they may know more heh.
I would think most people would assume they're related purely because of the stripes. They're similar, and Blues stripes in other themselves are pretty distinctive. Given that, it can also be implied that blues DNA might've been used in the original Indominus Rex, since when her and the I-Rex were talking was the big reveal that they used Raptor DNA in it. If anything, I guess Blue would be the.. grandmother or some such of Ripper, through generational cloning.
