[section=Three Years In The Making]
The day was a strange one already for Stiban but in front of front of his beach house on his porch stood him and what looked to be an orange bobcat that carried himself with a bit of unwarranted swagger. Usually his type would be kicked off the premise immediately but something drew the attention of the panda to stranger. Yet Stiban couldn’t piece together why.

“Alright so all the paperwork is completely done and I’ve heard you’ve got an amazing service!~ So do I get accepted?” Said the bobcat in a strangely charismatic tone. It’s both off putting and yet intriguing. He sounds familiar. He looks familiar.

This much Stiban was mulling over as he was looking over the application and is very much in questioning. This bobcat… Stiban KNOWS who this is but can’t put his finger quite on it. Even the name rings familiar. “Bubsy… Bubsy… I know you. I’ve heard of you at least. Why? What’s this strange feeling of both dread and yet… caring?”

“Ah so you’ve probably heard of my many exploits! Happy to know I’ve still got some popularity. Gotta say there was a following for me but after a certain project of mine my name was dragged through the mud.” Explained Bubsy.

It all clicked with him in that instance within the panda’s mind. “Now I remember! You’re that bobcat from the television show I saw a long time ago! I’m in the presence of an old star. You seem really confident that I’m going to say yes to taking you up with my services. Why would you think that? What makes you absolutely certain I’d accept you?”

“Because I’m cool. I’ve got that attitude that people loved back then. I’ve been super famous.” The bobcat said confidently. Showing off like he’s a peacock strutting his feathers.

“Atatata. Not so fast there Bubsy. You’re more infamous than famous. I’m not just going to let you fuck me and call it a day because you filled out some paperwork. I’ve had plenty of fallen stars show up that I denied all for the simple fact that they were giving me a bad vibe.” The panda firmly said putting a half to this bravado the feline was putting on.

“Bad vibe? Oh come on. 'What could paw-sibly go wrong' with saying yes?” The bobcat chimed knowing it would get under the panda’s skin at least.

Which the panda successfully cringed at. He groaned before going into detail. “I’m not saying you’re a bad guy but there’s lots of things that give me pause. The main thing, last I checked, is that you’ve kinda got a track record of being screwed over. I’m not inclined to give you a kid all because you want one. I’d rather you be financially and ethically stable. No deadbeat fathers allowed on my watch.”

The bobcat chuckled and shrugged before holding his hands up in having being caught. Yet he still wasn’t going to back down. “Well who’s to say I wanted a kid at all? Besides I believe you got me all wrong. Ethically I’m fine. If anything I own the fact that some of the stuff I’ve starred in hasn’t been all too good. There was even an ironic reboot that I took a part in and I ran with it. What if I just wanna have some fun with someone who sounds like a lot of fun? Can’t be wrong with having a gay old time?” The bobcat said. Insisting on wanting to at least be with the panda.

Stiban wasn’t sure why but he was confused at what Bubsy was doing. Of all the things to do. Why choose him? He had to know. “Alright I’ll accept depending on the answer. Why me? I’m not a prostitute. That’s not my services. I don’t want to have sex for no good reason. It’s not something I do for fun. Why do you insist on doing this so much?”

“Cause I provide something of a service myself. I’ve learned to roll with the punches life tends to give to folks and I aim to make people smile instead of openly appealing to them. You seem like a lonely guy despite your service as a breeder and surrogate father to the folks you help. You wouldn’t be offering these services otherwise unless it was for good reason. Am I wrong?” The bobcat explained and questioned in return.

He had a point. Bubsy was offering himself to the panda all because he wanted to just hang out and give him company? Out of the kindness of his heart? “…My services usually come with a date. I aim to please my partners and make sure that the time ahead of us will be good times. You’re not going to be an exception to this. Will this be alright with you Bubsy?”

The answer Bubsy got rang loud and clear and it made him happy. “Count me in. Let’s get this show on the road!”

The panda glanced down at the page and noticed a couple of the fillings were left blank. Namely… “One last thing. Who is going to be dominant or submissive with this date?”

The bobcat shrugged and gave the panda a warm smile. “Eh you should be the dom here. I’ve got a track record of being screwed over remember? What’s one more time for old times sakes?” He said chuckling to himself.

Stiban actually felt bad for this man. He’s been constantly given the shaft and is heckled for one bad piece of work. Bubsy’s accolades were genuine and yet people were quick to falsify this out of wanting to shame him. Bubsy wanting to do this just to genuinely make the panda feel better? It almost broke Stiban’s heart. Yet despite that it was the most moving thing someone had ever done for him.

The panda smiled and nodded. “Well alright. Just so you know I’m going to have this be a switch sort of deal. I’d rather not leave you hanging. You deserve this as much as I do.”

“Well shucks. I’ll make sure not to let ya down.” The bobcat said grinning ear to ear.

“Neither will I Bubsy. Neither will I.”

No the title is not a misnomer. I commissioned this piece of art 3 years ago. Never bothered to post it because my inept ass didn’t think much of this. How funny that 3 years later Bubsy looks to be getting a brand new 3D game that actually looks GOOD. I’m excited for it and I’m cautiously optimistic. Can’t wait to see how it turns out. Also yes.
