[/quote] He's only a DBZ character when in super form(which normally isn't always available since he doesnt keep emeralds with him). So a first encounter would normally be just normal Sonic vs Ratchet, but funny enough Ratchet does have his own invincible power up mode similar to Mario's power up star called "Inferno mode"
