Ooh my, very well said! I do love silly world reasonings for kinky pictures so I'm always happy to figure out some weird justification for it, one way or another. Heck if you want send me a note on here or something, I'd love to pick your brain for more ideas.

This scenario pushed some of my buttons really hard, the implication are getting my imagination going.
In my opinion self foot worship is best done with soles black from walking barefoot outside in public, and/or for comically long stretches of time that go into the realm of absurdity. Even better if there's a silly and arbitrary justification for it.
The way even her miniature is licking it's hoof is a fun detail, it's as if licking her feet is her character's central trait. I like how the book's picture implies the licking is actual game lore and part of the ruleset, Twilight isn't just tricking Fluttershy. Imagine what a Naturalist training is like, having to lick their own soles for impossibly long stretches as practice, licking while performing virtually any action. And it's all there in the book as if it's the most common thing in the world, any party has a large chance of a player reading that up, picking that class and be stuck licking their feet for hours and hours, maybe even longer.
If she keeps playing that character for long enough it might rub on her too, spreading beyond the game and into her daily life. Fluttershy just never stops licking her soles, that's just what she's like and that can be the case for any Naturalist player too.

She might as well just lick her feet for the entirety of the session, it's only a few hours a week after all. No more shoes either to make sure they're dirty enough for licking, but seems like that may be the case already.
