This would be hilarious if the fandom didn't have a long history of seriously wishing for this kind of thing.
Could be hilarious in hindsight if Twi goes to Sweet Apple Acres and just finds a fallen tree with four orange legs sticking out from under it.

I wouldn't say that exactly, it would be more the fact that mini Dash never did the Sonic Rainboom. Buuuut I must say that, based on the AU, Spike's death made Twilight grow up to be more cynical, machiavellian, and less human than in the first ep of FiM. The others girls are traumatized by other things.

Reading the AU from the beginning, I already imagined that Spike wouldn't exist in this universe, but this... this managed to be worse than I imagined, I actually cried, oh my dearest Spike 😭

Yep, filly Twilight accidentally made him explode. It's an AU where Rainbow Dash never performed the sonic rainboom that hatched Spike's egg because of Starlight Glimmer, buuut it's in the timeline of the Crystal Empire war of King Sombra.
