The town was too small for a cub sports rivalry, but a single tradition kept the rivalry alive - the coach from the losing team had to offer up one of their players to the winning team's coach, who got to do whatever they wanted with them... right there on the field, in front of everyone.
Usually the cub who got picked was the worst performing player, but sometimes, a particularly curious cub would volunteer themselves. Sometimes, the winning team's coach even let other players in on the action, as a way to vent some steam after a game.
Instead of chants of "good game", in this town, grunts and moans of pleasure and bullying taunts were heard instead.
