Ridley is GeneX Experiment 12. He worked as a double agent during the events of GeneX - Knuckles the Echidna, with his primary goal generally being self-preservation. He started off very selfish like that, but eventually became Razor's partner on the police force. He has water-based Chaos powers that he uses in combat.

Ridley is also gay, having a romance with Razor in GeneXXX. Unlike the other characters in that series, he does not swing both ways.
