It's been a year since Aïvi first appeared. In that year, I made fourteen pieces with them, eight of which were made in the first month without any artistic struggle (my record so far was five or six, not without struggle either), and only one of the fourteen was a little less inspired. I've never felt anything like this before, and this character continues to bring me endless feelings of freedom, joy, and inspiration. I always try my best to convey those feelings in Aïvi art, but it's hard, and I don't know if they're coming through.

I wish you could see them the way I do, because of all the characters I made, they are my favorite, and it's going to take another revolution in my brain to change that. Not saying that I don't want to work with any other chars (dog big mood also lately), and it would be impossible to keep a steady output of sufficiently good Aïvi art anyway, but I sure wish I could!

Fun fact: this piece was inspired by a photo I shot (included) in one of the coolest parks I've ever seen (not entirely shown in the photo), which also happened to be possibly the nicest day of 2024 for me.
