It's always fun to find ways to reuse colors in other areas

Of the recent batch of commissions, I think this one took me longest because I was a bit rusty with pixelart coloring

In this one I started with midtones and hatched darks and lights

In newer ones I found out for some reason it's more intuitive to me to start with darks then work towards whites/lights for the most part

Adding volume and texture rather than digging it in I guess

Also considering to reduce the canvas size a bit but not sure I like the result but I think I couldve achieved something crunchier if I had fewer pixels to spare, it would be less detailed but maybe more interesting/novel than large pixelart
