Popomo is a dragon from the mobile game series, Dragon Village.

To be honest, I don't quite remember why I decided to draw him in such a toonish style. But I draw him as an anthro, because I had this idea about a game/interactive fiction where you'd run an orphanage. Four characters I thought of using were Milatas (the supremely obedient type), Kamari (the active, nature-loving type), Reshi (an anthro style Reshiram, filling the meek/timid archetype), and finally Popomo, the troublemaker.

Funnily enough, I drew Kamari and the anthro Reshiram (or shota Reshiram as I like to call him), and no, they were not in this style. Really not sure what past me was thinking. (Though perhaps I just told this look is fitting for Popomo.) Either way, I actually sketched 3 poses for Popomo (one standing/neutral, one where he looks guilty/sad, and this one), but in the end I only finished this one.

Coloring him was an incredibly huge pain for me.

Anyway, the idea was Popomo would be a cheerful but troublesome child, often getting into trouble at school. He likes to play by tackling people, and when people get angry at him, he runs away thinking they're playing tag. He also often breaks stuff, as a result, nobody at school likes him.

He's sad because nobody seems to understand that he's just trying to play, and that he never meant to hurt anyone. (And if you're thinking, maybe he just shouldn't play like this... Well, that's exactly what he dislikes, being told what to do and not being understood! I believe Pomomo is a freedom dragon of sorts, at least from my very limited understanding of DV lore.)

And that's where you come in-- if you show understanding and often look out for Popomo, you'll pretty much be his best friend-- the only person who understands him. He'll like you a LOT, and pretty much do anything for you, and... well, you know where this is going.

(I'd have drawn a happier looking variant, but again, it's a pain to color, so, not gonna spend more time on this piece.)

Alternatively, you can frame sex as a game, and get him to play that with you. (This drawing probably suit this one better.)

Of course, there are the other "less happy" paths, but I'll save that for the other version.
