Honestly, even if you dont think he did it, the facts are he has a history of abuse of the dog. From keeping her on that bed for hours(I've had several dogs, none stood still for 5 hours mid-day) to the fact that he put her in a small playpen with the other dog to instigate the older dog snapping at her. that is NOT how you introduce/deal with dogs.
