Some lore:
She was born at the beginning of the First Rapture out of raw Void Essence. After the Second Rapture caused Hell to burst through the Great Egg, her people were slaughtered and enslaved, leaving mere thousands to live in suffering. She escaped Hell when she stowed away on a military excursion shuttle when humans revisited the Hell-infested world, and was imprisoned in the new colony.

Due to her unique biology, no normal prison could hold her, and was thus sentenced to work as an executioner, converting the mass of death-penalty criminals into clean energy. She lost her license after a serious public indecency charge in which she gorged herself as a means to “reconnect with her ancestors.” She tallied in and 4280 lbs(1941 kg). After she had worked off all the extra pounds, officials ordered her to live with Lazarus VI, the only other thing in the universe like her; born of nothing, manifesting itself from a connection to Chaos.

She and her brother founded a hibachi together, but she still works on the side as a private devouring servicer. She swallows everything from house pests, to assassination targets, she even offers a sauna-type deal for people who need to just relax. She never digests any willing prey, however, as that would be classified as unlawful and immoral execution, and would land her a death penalty.
