Finnley Lillibard has a rough life. He was born into a family where his father was not kind and had high expectations of him. When revealed that Finnley did not wish to carry on his family's bloodline in the traditional way, he was beaten and maligned by his father and family and ridiculed and bullied by kids at school. He grew to have this asshole exterior because only by keeping people at a distance could he protect himself from their bullshit. It wasn't until he met Fey Darner and fell in love with him that he began to see the good in opening his heart up to another.

Unfortunately, life was not so kind to Finnley. Not only did he lose the love of his life, he was taken by power eaters and his limbs eaten off while still awake. He ultimately got them replaced by using the funds and 'generosity' of Trevor Novak's company in Livarnu. But there was still a piece of himself he could never replace and that was his Fey. He'd sometimes catch himself looking at those garish, awful tropical printed shirts of Fey's and be reminded of what he had lost. It was a piece that could never be found again in someone else... or could it?
