# Pine and Rosy Rolling in Cow Poop
This image was done as a commission by the lovely "MissEus":https://derpibooru.org/profiles/Eustakia%2BPuchero. Thank you so much for drawing it for me!
When it comes to doing gross things in a cute way, almost no one does it better than Pine Thunderoak and Rosy Stripetail. The green pegasus and striped skunk are truly a pair of adorable stinkers, and because of their shared interest in everything smelly, they can often be seen getting into all sorts of disgustingly sweet mischief together.
One of Pine and Rosy's favorite bonding activities is rolling in poop. They've rolled in each other's feces plenty of times, but they also love doing it with manure belonging to other animals. And what better manure is there for the job than cow poop? It's warm, it's squishy, it smears easily, it's pretty much the perfect dung to have a tumble in.
Pine knows a great field where several cows like to hang out and munch on the grass, so he often takes Rosy there to have some fun. Indeed, there are plenty of cattle in the field, from the typical white ones with black spots, to ones with brown spots, to ones that are all brown or all black. This of course means there's plenty of crap as well, with dozens of cow pies littering the grass below and huge swarms of flies rapidly buzzing around them. The sheer number of flies they attract is no doubt a result of their tremendously strong odor, giving off a very fresh and earthy smell not unlike Pine's horseapples. Speaking of strong odors, cows are notorious for being really gassy animals, and the bovines in the field are no exception. They pretty much fart constantly, with no more than a minute or two going by before one casually lets out a loud brap and makes the air even smellier.
Upon arriving at the field, Pine and Rosy find a good spot in the grass with plenty of cow pies. They'll usually take a moment to look at the thick mud, admiring the soft and mushy texture, which is courtesy of the cows' four-part stomachs thoroughly grinding their food up. It's not long though before the pegasus and skunk throw themselves in, the poop immediately squishing against them and emitting a funny squelching sound that makes both of them giggle every time. Already, the dung feels amazing to Pine and Rosy. The cattle's body heat gives it a comforting warmth that spreads across the interspecies couple's own bodies, accompanied by the wonderful tickly sensation of the flies landing on them. They could honestly just lay right where they are and be completely satisfied, but they're just getting started.
Pine and Rosy proceed to wallow in the cow manure like pigs, laughing and having an absolute blast together. They make a big mess of the grassy field from rolling around so much, and their bodies get majorly caked with poop, becoming very dirty and very stinky. Most of Pine's green coat starts to match the color of his mane and tail (not to mention the streaks he gets on his privates), while Rosy inadvertently dyes her white stripes an oaky brown. Some of the cows will even notice the pegasus and skunk's smelly antics, and typically be very amused by what they're looking at. After all, who knew playing in poop with someone could be so much fun?
When they're finished smearing the dung around and getting themselves heavily covered in the stuff, Pine and Rosy will sometimes talk with the cows. The cattle might have to plug their noses with a hoof due to the couple's stench, but they generally enjoy their company. It helps that bovines in Equestria speak the same language as ponies, allowing them to easily communicate with Pine. They don't speak skunk however, so if Rosy has something to say, Pine will have to translate her speech for them.
You might expect Pine and Rosy to go clean up after leaving the cow field, but they don't actually do it right away. As it turns out, they really like the new looks they get after wallowing in crap, with the sewage-scented perfume being an extra bonus. They'll happily walk around with their bodies coated in poop, letting it dry in their fur and bringing a colony of flies with them wherever they go. That being said, the pegasus and skunk will eventually have the courtesy to clean themselves off. They might roll around in a clean patch of grass, rub up against a tree, wash off in a creek, or even go to Pine's cloud home and take a shower. Believe it or not, his shower uses real rainwater, so it's perfect for him and his girlfriend to use after having some messy fun. Regardless of which cleaning method they use though, one thing's for sure: Pine and Rosy love rolling in poop together, and it's definitely something they're gonna continue to do.
