'5 O Clock Somewhere'

Fey Darner plays a small, but significant role in my book series. Despite his short page time, he made an impression on quite a few readers. It's a shame I don't have more art of him, but there were a few key things that stood out from his appearance in my books: He loved floral or tropical printed shirts. It reflected a more carefree time he wishes to return to. He's nearly blind as a bat without his glasses, so he typically doesn't stray far from wearing them, even to the point of bringing them into situations where they could get lost or damaged. Good thing he has that strap around his neck to hook them onto! Finally, he's a drinker. Not alcoholic, but definitely enjoys a fine wine or more preferably, a tropical mixer that reminds him of a better place he'd rather be. His loving, more carefree side was rarely seen in the novels outside of his interaction with his lover, Finnley. There's a minor, ongoing debate on who was top or bottom in the relationship, but I leave that open to speculation. For now, enjoy a rare view of a rarely commissioned character from Legend of Ahya.
