This is Cain, a human who was an aspiring writer and artist in his teenage years.  At least, until he was kidnapped by the fey and became their plaything.  Mostly being turned into water features like a river or a pond.  By the time he's escaped, his own form was warped into an otter that drips watercolor paint.  Now in his mid-20s, he's slowly piecing his life back together with the help of his sister (who's now a retiree) and some new friends he makes along the way.

Yeah, the fey he encounter were not good to him.
