Second page of the Fifth Chapter! 📖
This page has been in my mind since the beginning of this project... so it has been both a challenge and a relief to finally finish it. It is a cruel, unpleasant page, different from the rest. That is why I needed all that evil to be concentrated on one page, symbolizing the decadence in which humanity finds itself and which threatens the idyll of the jungle. The rest of the chapter will explore humans and the court of the Maharaja, but I will try not to be as graphic as on this page.
