Wow, I did yet another bird! Ok this is only my third bird Pokémon, or fourth flying type if you count non-birds like Golbat. Or fifth if you also count the Lugia doodle I did years ago before the Footdex discord was created. https://www.deviantart.com/guineapigdan/art/Darrel-the-Lugia-314584428 Ha, I got a 13 year head start claiming Lugia before anyone else did! :p Ok ok, in all seriousness, I've decided for the next batch of Pokémon I'm doing, I'm going to draw at least one Pokémon from every generation I have not yet covered. I've done Pokémon from gens 1, 2, 8, and 9, but I haven't drawn any from gens 3-7. From gen 4, I chose the parrot Chatot. Back in the day, a Chatot that knew the move Chatter would allow the player to record a custom cry on the Nintendo DS microphone. The game would play the recording as Chatot's cry and the sound it would make using Chatter. Obviously people abused this to make Chatot say naughty things, resulting in Chatot being banned from online play. The Chatot pictured here isn't so foul mouthed. However it is very vain, and is bragging over the phone with another Chatot about how its massive stompers would be good for the Footdex. Chatot's friend meanwhile is wondering if its wings would be applicable for the Footdex's sister project, the Handdex, which documents the hands of every Pokémon. That might be the next project after all 1000+ Pokémon in the Footdex has been drawn. /s
