The Gray Fox lounged on a chest overflowing with gold, the candlelight painting fire across his fur. Coins slid under his claws as he tipped his head, eyes gleaming behind the mask.

“Well now…” he purred, voice smooth as velvet, “caught staring, are we?”

He leaned back, one leg crossed, the treasure glinting around him like stars fallen to earth. Every word dripped with confidence, every movement deliberate—lazy, daring, inviting.

“Go on,” he said softly, tracing a claw along a golden coin. “You came all this way for a glimpse, didn’t you? For the thrill of seeing what no one’s supposed to see.”

He smirked, tail curling as he let the silence stretch, thick with temptation. “Careful, pretty thief. One look too long… and you might find I’m the one stealing from you.”

The candles flickered, and his laughter—carefree, dangerous, and delicious—filled the dark.
