The city lit up with thousands of light. Neon, flourescent, LED it didn't matter. All of them flashing and flickering, drawing eyes to the sky and guiding them to the harbor. It was only every broadcast, every street, every billboard and phone that any even the tiniest digital stream to it.

It had been seen happening bit by bit all throughout the week. Channels flipping to strange ads, radio channels chatting about an extravaganza. Newspapers printing pictures of the Statue Liberty, only day by day it wasn't the iconic monument. Instead replaced by a figure, the same one across every lip that spread the word. It was a sign of the biggest event for the year, and nobody knew even what it was.

And today, on that special date, everyone could finally see. Through the spotlights and fireworks, through the hardlight platforms hosting hundreds of fans as they spin through the air. The statue gone, yet towering still in its place. A figure of immense beauty and grace, exotic anatomy and digital landscapes. Her redlight hair and limbs swaying as she rocked her wide hips to the music and was cheered by one especially adoring on. The one and only, Tass Managem! Digital Popstar and (Infamous) Pirate of the Stars!

Opening her glowing eyes, they tracked and locked in on the tiny wuff still standing down on the island below. Winking at him and blowing a kiss before throwing her head back as the entire city rang with her tunes.
