[i]Not long after being tasked to prepare her baths, Benjamin was soon also assigned to attend his mistress for the duration of them. In essence, this task simply boiled down to witnessing her, as well as keeping a glass filled with whatever Bretonnian vintage that she had pilfered from the surface. While he found it easy to ascertain that his presence wasn't strictly necessary, he nevertheless remained obedient of her behest; he would eventually carve out a spot for himself next to the fireplace, where he patiently awaited her orders.[/i]

[i]What Benjamin hadn't quite anticipated from these occasions was just how talkative his mistress would end up becoming during them. It didn't take long for her to start enquiring about his background, of what his life used to be, or what he did before that. Almost it seemed to him that her routine washings inspired some kind of inquisitive nature in her. Though he would've never predicted such a thing, seeing her in that manner - curious rather than commanding - made him genuinely look forward to her washes. If her mood seemed agreeable enough, Benjamin would even hazard to ask his mistress about her own life in turn, learning a great deal about her, as well as that of Skavendom as a whole. He surmised rather quickly that her favourite topic of "discussion" was her previous exploits and achievements.[/i]

[i]During one of these countless occasions, Benjamin was somewhat taken aback when his mistress - seemingly out of nowhere - ordered him to take a seat beside her. Heeding her request, he carefully approached and took place next to the basin. After he kneeled down, Fleer then proceeded to grab hold of his tunic. Her assertive grasp soon lessened to a lingering hook, as her head began to rest against his shoulder. Benjamin was left speechless. He simply beheld the utter bliss on her expression, his own thoughts soon melding with the comforting crackling of the fireplace behind him, and the warm steam from the water.[/i]
