already flustered by the realisation that his starry-eyed apprentice is growing a goatee to match him, Alexander is caught off-guard by the young man's forgotten coat. once good quality, worn into ruin (likely a hand-me-down), but lovingly repaired by an enthusiastic amateur. and the smell... well. never you mind what goes on in a tailor shop after hours.
