Those so-called ‘Mystery Dungeons’ are still rife with hooligans and dangers, just so you know. They’re mostly abandoned, but could easily be dens of chaos or hideaways for territorial folks. When I'm in one by myself, I always check for traps, tricky terrain, and troublemakers. But when I’m a bubbly little duck tags along and keeps [i]distracting[/i] me, I miss stuff. For example, last week: A pitfall trap. The fall itself didn't hurt on account of all the webs I landed in, and my newfound company found me before I was a total cocoon, so I can’t be [i]that[/i] mad…

And sure, the first thing he did was run over in a hurry to make sure I came out of my blunder unharmed, but after making sure the situation was under control? Bouncy little birdbrain took quick notice of my situation and decided to delay my rescue. A heard a little giggle, and he said he was gonna, "Get me back for being such a tease". I take no responsibility for anything o’ the sort! I thought Guild members were supposed to have morals; I was innocent! He waddled down to my stuck ankles where I could hardly see him, and right as I tried to say there could be more than just caterpie and weedle feelin’ me move in these webs, he started swiping around my feet with his feathery hands. He was all, “Then you better keep still~!” Psh, thanks.

Now, given that I’m actually quite level-headed - to say nothing of disciplined - he wasn’t gonna get a peep out of me. Scrafty hide is pretty tough, I’ll have you know. I know he’s gonna tell you a different story, so let me get this out of the way: I was squirming because I wanted to get out before an ariados or somethin’ came on down, not because it tickled, capiche? Oh, you already spoke to him? He says he got a [i]smile[/i]?

That don’t count; you could do that with anyone.
