I really hope your weekend is going well
Happy Halloween, everyone!
-----
One Halloween night, under the eerie glow of a full moon, a young man named Jack wandered through a misty forest. Suddenly he felt the moonlight on his skin, igniting a strange heat within him. His heartbeat quickened, pounding like a drum in his chest and echoing in his ears. Jack took a step, his hands shaking, going numb, and he stumbled, clutching his chest.
Sharp, prickling shivers crawled up his arms in waves. His face felt hot, muscles twitching and straining until his nose darkened and lengthened, forming a slender muzzle. His ears pricked upward, catching every whisper in the midnight silence.
Horrified, Jack looked down at his reflection in a nearby puddle and saw... a face that was no longer his own. Soft silver fur covered his cheeks, his nose was black and shiny, and sharp-pointed ears stood out from his head. It wasn't just the wolfish snout. Little lower, he could feel a weight on his chest - a pair of large, unfamiliar curves. His jaw dropped - had he somehow turned into a she-wolf?
Gasping, she ran her tongue over the sharp, unfamiliar teeth and felt her chest rise with a strange, deep thrill - a mixture of confusion and raw, unbridled freedom.
She took a shaky step back, her paws scraping the damp ground. He - now she - had become a wolf. Her heart raced with wild excitement, and she let out a howl that echoed through the night, no longer frightened, but alive with the primal energy of the wolf world.
