AI so-called "art" continues to be a massive problem online. One of the most recent scandals that shocked the world was the discovery that several submissions in 2024's Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest were actually generated by AI. I've thought of entering this design-your-own-Pokémon-card art contest, but I keep forgetting and missing the deadlines. So I decided to make up for it by drawing this parody of the whole AI "art" debacle, which I completed across a couple weekly Drawpile sessions. Brainiac and Ultron's newest scheme for world domination was to team up and enter the PTCGIC for themselves. Unfortunately their submissions are flagged as AI "art" and can't be entered. Maybe it would be better if the two of them teamed up with a glitch Pokémon like Missingno and used Missingno's corrupted data to destroy the Internet or something.
