In this hostile naked world, only the strong survive. If a man cannot defend his woman from enemies and is defeated, one of many outcomes is the locking of chastity. This effectively eliminates that man from the gene pool without downright killing him, which would be unproductive in this dangerous world where a defeated male could be used elsewhere such as construction, manual labor, or accounting. If a man cannot defend himself then they lose the right to reproduce. However, as is customary, if a male is locked away in chastity their woman has little reason to stay with him and to the victor goes the spoils, such is life in Naked World.
