Part 1 - Subtle Approval
Although rail thin throughout the prior chapters of his life, Charkol wasn't all too terribly shy about the fact that his figure had long-since shifted into something more reflective of his at-times sedentary lifestyle. Games, drinking, and taking a bit of an interest in sunbathing by the pool more than swimming in it had predictably put him where he was. Quite content with where he was, at times he managed his weight with mild exercise and occasional muscle-building under that slight layer of flab, but he wasn't in any hurry to become a body-builder and show off.

Despite the fact of him not actively wanting to really shift the needle one way or another, an eager friend or few had taken it upon themselves to see the 'zard put on a few extra pounds here and there. Grabbing him an extra snack after meals, a good snuggle after a night of drinking and partying, and catching the fire-type's attention with a few very directed compliments at his figure opened him up to ignoring an extra pound or two that was adding to his waistline.
