Arnoglossa is the name given to the magical sword that grows from a plantain after its name is spoken by its wielder.
The schiavona's blade is said to be made of a cold iron that is quite durable, yet flexible like the stem of a flower.
When Prince Borgon swings it, it feels as if the weapon is bending to his will, a natural extension of his arm.
And yet, the young dragon sometimes feels as if he finds meaning in the hissing sounds his thrusts and slashes make,
almost as if the sword has a conscience of its own and wants to do everything in its power to help him win battles.

The dragon's natural curiosity had also led him to a significant discovery. If Arnoglossa blooms from a plant, then perhaps it could be alive?
This question was answered the first time Borgon attempted to envelop the schiavona in the sacred flame of Valmeridia.
The green fire, which usually annihilates any inert material, instead seems to nourish Arnoglossa, giving it even greater resistance and making its blade razor-sharp.

An enhancement that allows the dragon to deliver blows capable of cleaving a boulder in two as if it were made of butter,
or to destroy opponents' armor and weapons simply by bringing them into direct contact with its fire, without harming them due to the very nature of the life energy it imbues.
A strategy that serves both defense and offense, allowing Borgon to defeat better-equipped enemies in a manner that borders on logic: leaving them unarmed but unharmed.

The sacred and the alchemical fused together in an instrument seemingly of death, yet paradoxically instilling life in those who come into contact with it.
This is the peculiar weapon of the eccentric prince of Valmeridia, his baleful yet peaceful fire sword~[/section]
