Description
Charkol and Coralyn aren't strangers to one another, despite being in relatively different social circles. By virtue of the species, there are a few select challenges that tend to be almost universal to growing up as a fire-breathing, flying, almost-dragon being. From figuring out how not to accidentally singe everything with the fire at the tip of their tail, to anger management and combat practice, these two have been aware of each other for the majority of their adult lives, tending to gravitate towards one another when they share a reason for being in the same place.

Coralyn, a professional fighter and impromptu model of sorts due to said profession earned herself more than enough reason to keep away from frequent outings among the general population; getting recognized and subsequently interrupted in some areas became exhausting for her. As such, she sticks to more exclusive areas of town where having fame isn't rare, or at least personal space is respected.

Charkol on the other hand, often held jobs that rarely brought him to the point of being privy to celebrity circles, from hard labor to scientific testing subject. Occasionally though, he did worm his way into security detail, as being a big, muscled fire-breather helped with quick intimidation and crowd management. Performance in this last category is finally what brought the two charizards together; whenever Charkol needed a quick buck and had some time to kill, Coralyn would happily hire him to accompany her for what amounted to be lighter crowd-work jobs.

Ultimately, Coralyn mostly brought Charkol along as a 'Just in case' sort of measure...and maybe as eye-candy. Needless to say, it was a fairly beneficial arrangement for the both of them.
