This artwork was inspired by an episode of the Mighty Mouse cartoon series.  The villain has the girl trapped and in his clutches, and the cartoonist realizes he forgot to draw the hero.

It's also a warning to those of you who request or commission an artist to make something for them, because the artist may be swamped with projects and has to take time clearing his to-do list.
