Spike finds his voice to be a bit too feeble to reach the ears...headfrills of the Dragon Lord in all her grandeur. The fact that she has teeth bigger than him, and can shake the ground just by stepping is proof enough of that power. Still, after a moment's reflection, he remembers he has the power of flight, and Ember is expecting him, so he makes to slip off the Earth's(Equus'?) bounds and take once more into the heavenly vaults, only for a shadow to darken his sky, one that finally starts putting together the strange smell for him, before it lands like a huge pillow, pinning him to the green, leafy sheet beneath it's weight.
