I just hope they have enough medical knowledge about bloodtypes and how to heal someone after losing a large amount of blood(...if she needs any) At least they know to stop the bleeding, judging by Kassen already having grabbed a piece of cloth from the torn banner (Reminder: He's a military veteran, a job with high risk of injuries and occasionally sparse resources, he probably knows how to prepare an open wound before handing it over when the medic arrives)

Thanks for telling about the "Deadly bleed" I used to deal with a lot of weird stuff at work so that's something else to add to my repertoire.
Heh, the mixed blessing of having an emerg. Nurse for a mother. You learn a bunch of stuff by osmosis... but unless you're spurting, you're fine. Walk it off! 馃ぃ
I have the bad impression kalgur is gonna beat himself up emotionally over this, but really he wasn't given a lot of choice. Given how everyone was getting sliced at and 1 blow could have killed lopin or a potential passerby it was the best course of action.

Not immediately lethal but should be attended because it is unlikely to stop without at least direct pressure. Likely a very good compress or ideally stitches. If it was an artery there would be a lot more blood, and it would be spurting in time to the heartbeat. If you ever see that in real life, dial 9-11 and specifically say you have a 'deadly bleed'. - immediate - care is absolutely needed in that case because those are the ones that kill. And kill quick. Arteries are the pressure line, the blood has the full power of the heart behind it. Knowing the pressure points that properly cut down flow can save a life. And are better than a tourniquet because it also goes a long ways in saving the limb. ...But if you have nothing else...
Beat me to it man. Fresh marks in the rock side indicate at least a small control of the descent as the marks seem to get deeper or wider the farther down Yannit's descent.
Hmm... I'm not sure if I am relieved, or concerned to see all those claw-marks on the wall. Means she was conscious, or at least conscious enough to be trying to slow herself down. Hope rises! (Also, nice attention to the small details!)

Why do I get the feeling Yannit is going to bump into Brakka who's still in hiding.
That might not look like a lot in anime logic, but that much blood loss that quickly in a normal situation would mean it might have knicked a vein, correct?
