Order was originally placed in Jan of 2024, and was completed around last week...

At first I felt like I had a lot to say about this piece, but I'm just happy it's completed after all this time. Even with the glaring flaws </3 (imo)

I've learned a lot throughout the process of this piece, and as much as I'm inclined to point out the things I could improve I think it's still a solid piece by itself. Main issue I have is that it lacks balance in it's values, which is something I'll definitely keep in mind for future illustrations.

I hope I could convey the playful emotions/vibes my client had in mind X]

These two are always a joy to draw. I should've tone down the detail in their surrounding so they would pop up more...

I originally wanted to make the batter chocolate, but went with birthday cake! Maybe it's one of their birthdays' or they could be baking it for a special occasion, either way the two of them are having fun.

(The clean up won't be as fun though LMAO)

There was suppose to be covered in more flour but I didn't want to obscure all the painstaking rendering I did rwuygtuyerjy

Anyways! I'm super tired ahaaaaa, been very busy lately as I'm trying to get back on my feet with work B]
