This was one of those comms I have to just write this down. Always love when getting something physical I can just hang on my wall, knowing it's the actual original copy I physically purchased. Digital is like I can just get it whenever because it's data. But also just whenever I link ref and the artist just gets it, always feels amazing. I know my characters design is boring and neutral, but I still like when smaller details are correct from getgo. Theme of the convention was space, so what would bear do space related in 90's, play starfox of course. They would be so into games that obviously they would have game related items like shirts. Just like everything being so obvious that it clicks. Laserscope with dakka was like bearphones, obviously they have headphones on and that's definitely huge factor. But I was the kind who would have game boy shaped luggage to carry on my game boy and accessories and my family remembers me shouting "OBJECTION!" in my room immersing myself to ace attorney and using the mic function. Using laserscope as headphones while playing older console when everyone else already has newer ones sounds like something that could've happened. Also never pants when at home.
