'Afterglow'

Born to a rural but still wealthy family, Samantha Curings was a red panda who worked little for the amount of luxury she enjoyed. She didn't truly experience hardship until after Zabokar was destroyed and she followed her sponsored-hopeful, Jake Thumpings, out west to find Taylor Renee Wolford. Due to this quest of Jake's, she was flung into one bad situation after another leading to the crippling of her legs from a very bad injury by the former (and now dead) Duke Y'ollmjr of Talkar.

Alone and abandoned by many whom she considered friends in a country of reptiles, she latched onto the rising emperor, Vecennia, as his personal confidant, scribe and bedroom entertainment. It wasn't much of a social life and she had many a long night wondering where her life went wrong. Even in the afterglow of intense intimacy sessions with her emperor, where she could barely feel the ferocity happening inches below her waist, she wondered just what it was Vecennia saw in her broken body.
