His dialogue suggests that she pulled out her own grenade and threw it, but I thought she just caught the one he threw, pulled the pin, and threw it back. Which is funnier to me because it would mean he a) threw the grenade thinking it was a dud (and it wasn't), and b) didn't even operate it correctly and got clowned on by a pokemon.
