For "Black-winter":https://www.furaffinity.net/user/black-winter We came up with a pretty neat story for this piece that really piqued my interest haha!

The idea behind this comission was that a Protogen colony intercepted an anomalous signal from deep space. The signal carried a type of virus that infected any non-shielded Protogen, wiping out their sentience and installing a type of "zombie malware" in place of their normal operating system. The Signal corrupts all synthetic lifeforms it manages to infect, but survivors in shielded buildings were able to block the signal. Most of the planet fell to the infection within a matter of hours and to prevent the signal from spreading to other colonies all communication with the planet had been cut off and an elimination order given to completely purge it.  No one knows where the signal came from or who created it, just one of the many ancient cosmic horrors that lurks in the depths of space.

So here we have a small group of survivors fighting their way to a dropship to hopefully evacuate this doomed planet before its too late. _________________________
