Japanese = Baby to Child to Adult to Perfect to Ultimate

Ultimate should always be the last in any list because ultimate literally just means "last". Just as penultimate means second-to-last.

The problem with that is the content and name. If Cobalt did that, even just the art style could be recognized. Going in public especially in places where that type of content isn't liked can really do a lot of damage to the artist, either mentally, physically, or both. It's a dangerous world out there for a lot of artists.

Thanks, I feel old now knowing this. The order has always been thus, from someone who had the classic Digimon keychain thing:
Egg->Baby->In-Training->Rookie->Champion->Ultimate->Mega
Then you had other flavors in between where they had many different gimmicks, like Armor, DNA Digivolving, Fusions between tamers and Digimon. There's a lot. owo
