I recently bought Sunset Overdrive on the PC, never played it before. It released in 2014.
Amazing graphics, gorgeous animation, very solid and addictive gameplay.
The writing and the humour? The most 2014 you could possibly subject your poor ears and mind to. To say it dated poorly is an understatement, it's weaponised cringe and I generally have a high-ass tolerance for that kinda stuff. Oof.
This animation lines up with that experience. Not far off at all.
