Beautiful <3 Oh, the memories hahaha.... Glad to have helped, forgot the smart phone edition last time. Not trying to patronize anyone, ignore me if you know this one obviously. For anyone who hasn't actually stopped, looked carefully at, and explored the uses of their smart phone keyboard. Yøü hæv hīddêñ kêys. Hold a key that has an accent, like n, then slide over an option and release. Ñ uppercase works too. ẞß or Ss. I forgot about ß honestly.... Even for keys that also exist in the symbols section like ¥, that you get to on android by pressing ?123 key and then =\< key. You can also get to ¢ and other common global currency signs by way of hidden keying $. £¢€₱¥₹ are all still in $ for an American English keyboard. ... I can name maybe 4 of those :,< 4 if € really is euros, and still only 4 because ¢ cents are there! but there they are found. So no, this ain't me saying I know-it-all, helping when I can help is all. But of course, few people are gonna bother editing e621.net on a smart phone. Not that it's impossible or even all that very hard, just slow, for someone who's doesn't phone-type at at least 30wpm. Remember, it might be called common sense but it is still possible to be TAUGHT rather than pratfalling into or absorbing via cultural osmosis.

So apparently this is the image that I choose to learn how to make notes on. You're welcome for the translation it took 3 seconds on Google. Also the Win + period shortcut biblioholic93 mentioned has emoticons in addition to symbols and accents. Yeah, emoticons, remember these? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) ^_^ ಠ_ಠ ᓚᘏᗢ Microsoft apparently decided to bake this old ass meme culture into the operating system.

You can also get things like ° © and ¢ Also you can Google a Spanish alphabet and paste selectively from the characters, really, there's a few ways.
God, you really do learn something new every day. Thanks for the keyboard tip. This is way better than tracking down alt-codes.

Don't need to wait for someone who's bilingual in two specific languages. Can just have some random dude type the letters into google translate.
